My stay at The Soho Hotel was quite the mixed bag. On one hand, the boutique style offered a unique charm, and the location was superb for accessing the main shopping area. On the other hand, issues like a noisy party above me and a lack of staff response to such disturbances really detracted from the experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room featured a modern design with a large opening window and a balcony, though I found the constant flashing of the smoke alarm annoying. Some maintenance issues, like a dripping shower and unaligned grout, could definitely use attention.
Service
5.0
While I encountered friendly staff upon arrival, the overall responsiveness to complaints left much to be desired. I felt a lack of urgency when it came to addressing the noise issues, which impacted my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located just out of the city center, making it easy to explore local cafes and restaurants. Its proximity to the Conference Centre was an added benefit for me.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were decent, and I appreciated the buttery croissants available. However, it's hard to fully enjoy the food when your room experience is marred by other factors.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had good facilities, including housekeeping and laundry services. I did notice that some amenities, like the pool, could use improvement as it was uncomfortably cold.

5.6/10

My stay at The Soho Hotel had its ups and downs. While the location was fantastic and close to the main shopping area, the noise from nearby construction was quite bothersome. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the service could use some improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The room was large and came with a comfortable king bed, though it did have a view of a construction site. Maintenance could be improved, as some items needed attention.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly, yet there were communication issues due to language barriers. and I faced challenges with my initial check-in experience.
Location
9.0
The hotel is perfectly situated in the city center, close to Rundle Mall and many great dining spots, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
6.0
Though I didn’t experience the dining options extensively, the breakfast spread included a nice variety of foods, which was enjoyable.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area looked nice, but the outdoor heated pool was colder than expected. The overall facilities are decent, yet some updates and better maintenance could enhance the experience.

5.2/10

My stay at The Soho Hotel was quite mixed. The location was convenient, being close to the city center and Rundle Mall, which I appreciated. However, I encountered some significant issues, particularly with the room conditions and the staff's language barrier. While the pool facilities were enjoyable, I left feeling that the hotel fell short of what I expected for a boutique experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was a decent size, but I had a significant issue with the cleanliness. Upon arrival, it was filled with an unpleasant cooking smell, making it hard to stay in. Also, the bathroom needed some attention as it felt quite run down. I did enjoy the king bed and the modern design, though I wished the pillows had been softer.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly, which was a positive aspect. However, many of them seemed to struggle with English, making communication difficult. Additionally, I experienced a lack of attentiveness during check-in when I was not informed about the noise from nearby construction.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is one of its stronger points. It's conveniently close to Rundle Mall, and there are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance. However, being in the city, there was quite a bit of early morning traffic noise that could be disruptive.
Dining
6.0
I found the dining options to be fairly good, offering a variety of foods, from salads to different meat dishes. However, I didn't have a chance to try the bar since it opened later in the morning. Still, there seemed to be a good selection of drinks.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities offered a nice assortment, particularly the pool, which catered to different age groups with various slides. Unfortunately, some areas could use a refresh, and housekeeping seemed lacking as items like the mini bar were not restocked.

7.0/10

I had a bit of a mixed experience at The Soho Hotel. While the location was great and the staff were friendly, the room I stayed in was underwhelming and not well-kept. The noise from outside was brutal, which made it tough to relax and get a good night’s sleep.

Rooms
5.0
The room was filled with cooking smoke and had a very unpleasant greasy smell. My overall experience in the room was disappointing, and it felt uninhabitable at times.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly, but I felt like they could have done better in terms of communication. A heads-up about the room noise would have gone a long way in showing they cared.
Location
5.0
The hotel’s location was solid, being really close to the main shopping area. I liked that everything was within walking distance, which is a big plus.
Dining
5.0
I didn't get to try the dining options due to the smell from the restaurant, which was a bummer. I heard the grilled fish and other dishes were nice, though.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities could use a bit of improvement, especially with housekeeping. I noticed that my room wasn’t cleaned properly during my stay.

5.8/10

I had a mixed experience at The Soho Hotel in Adelaide. The location was fantastic, right near the city center and close to all the action. However, I faced some issues with noise from nearby construction that affected my sleep. Additionally, the cleanliness and condition of the room were disappointing. I was hoping for a boutique experience, but it fell short in some areas. 😕

Rooms
6.0
The room had a comfortable bed and was generally clean, but I noticed some maintenance issues like ripped blinds and broken tiles. The view that was advertised as a city view turned out to be quite bland, facing a hotel next door instead. Overall, the aesthetics didn't match the photos I had seen online.
Service
6.0
While the staff were friendly and welcoming, the check-in process felt unnecessarily complex. I was disappointed that nobody informed me of the construction noise at check-in, which would have been helpful to set my expectations.
Location
8.0
The location was definitely a strong point for the hotel, being just out of the busy city center yet close to the Conference Centre and various attractions. I appreciated the quiet area, making it easy to explore the city.
Dining
7.0
I didn’t have a chance to experience the dining options extensively, but I did notice some local seafood options nearby, which I found intriguing. It's great to have quality dining close at hand.
Facilities
5.0
Although there were amenities like an outdoor heated pool, I found the water temperature disappointing. The common areas, such as hallways, showed signs of wear and tear, which affected my overall impression of the hotel's facilities.
